To create objects of lasting, tangible beauty. This idea is what led Anabelle to pursue a career in the field of goldsmithing. While having admittedly limited experience in the field prior to starting her education at the Dutch vocational school for gold- and silversmithing in Schoonhoven, she hasn’t failed to make up for any of it with a healthy dose of driven enthusiasm, eagerness, creativity and many sources of inspiration, not only limited to the visual arts thanks to her former profession as a classical musician.
“All the world’s a stage, then a canvas, and now a work bench. “
During her time at the Vakschool Schoonhoven, Anabelle got to specialise in specific fields of the craft that particularly sparked her interest at the time, which include yet aren’t limited to: hand engraving, stone setting, CAD (Rhino) as well as AAD (Grasshopper).
