Ink Starvation

The sensation of a pen not writing at all or the pen seemingly slowly drying out, despite the converter, cartridge or ink reservoir being sufficiently filled is what we call ink starvation and is tightly knit to the topic of ink flow. Just like with any ink flow issues, there could be many different things causing this ink starvation. Those include, yet aren’t limited to: feed issues, too undeep of an ink channel, disruption of the vacuum, position of the nib and feed, clogging, or simply the kind of ink you’re using.
